Geoenvironmental Assessment and Remediation on Active Petrol Filling Station

Site Investigation – Phase II Risk Assessment (GQRA) – Remediation Method Statement (RMS) – Remediation Implementation – Verification

A-squared delivered geoenvironmental support for the redevelopment project of a petrol filling station. From initial risk assessment, through supervising SI on the active petrol station, all the way to remediation design and implementation and finally with support through the verification stage.

Working closely alongside A-squared’s Geotechnical team and Frame Engineering, we were able to reduce the scope of site investigation by undertaking a Value Engineered Site Investigation Scope. In addition, the Geoenviromental team supervised the remediation implementation assisting with the verification during the removal of the petrol filling station infrastructure including underground storage tanks, as well as collecting verification soil samples to allow for discharging planning conditions.
